What a great experience! I found Byron on YouTube after a different lender dragged me through the mud for four months, only to be denied without good reason. So I reached out to Byron the next day after watching him on the podcast, and about a month later, my loan was closed and funded! I cannot begin to express how relieved I am! I was in a precarious situation, and the previous lender had imposed arbitrary overlays and conditions that prevented me from using my VA loan entitlement for a refinance. This was not an easy loan to administer. It took someone with diligence and expertise, and above all, a commitment to veterans. Byron is a veteran himself, a former infantry sergeant, and he brings that squared away, take care of the troops, work ethic, and spirit. This loan was a transition from a hard money loan, so to say it was nuanced is an understatement. And the fact that it was hard money, I was staring at a looming Loan maturity within a couple of months. I Couldn’t recommend Byron enough even if I tried. He helped us get into our 1st home, which felt way smoother than trying to get into any apartment or rental. He was informative whenever I or my wife had questions and fought hard to get the answers to questions he didn’t have the answer to.

Byron was an absolutely amazing resource as we worked through the loan process. I work in finance analytics so I tend to scrutinize numbers a bit much. Byron was extremely patient with my litany of questions. His knowledge on home lending exceeded expectations and was always pleasant to work with. We had our “Clear to close” status nearly two weeks early, because of the effort Byron put in. We closed in March of ‘23 so rates are a fair bit higher now than they were a couple years ago. If we see rates drop, we will absolutely be going back to Byron for a refinance, and we will be recommending him to anyone that gets into the housing market!

It was a bit overwhelming returning to the USA after 16 years abroad. Byron and his team helped us secure our home purchase in under 30 days. Didn’t think it would happen that quick, let a lone find a place we could call our home, but they crushed the expectation and we closed ahead of the projected timeline. One piece of advice to offer new home buyers or those who haven’t purchased in quite some time, factor time in planning and researching well in advance. All the different terminologies and peripheral details (e.g., what are the duties of loan officer, underwriter, realtor/broker, etc.). I didn’t realize how many different cogs existed in the operation which ended up in many questions; however, between my realtor and loan officer, the team got the job done and we are happy to be back in the property ladder!
